Press Releases DukeHealth

DURHAM, N.C. April 4, 2017 – Due to a decrease in reported influenza activity, all Duke University Health System hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers have lifted the restrictions on patient visitations that were implemented on Feb. 10, 2017.

Visitors to hospital and ambulatory surgery patients are still encouraged to follow standard flu precautions, including vaccination and good hand hygiene. Patient visitors who exhibit flu-like symptoms may still be asked by staff to leave hospitals and other facilities.
