Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center to host smoking cessation program
December 23, 2013 – Beginning in January, Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center will host a free, seven-week smoking cessation program certified by the American Lung Association and designed to help participants stick to their 2014 New Year’s Resolution to kick the habit.
The interactive, support program is designed to help smokers not only quit smoking but also promote a new, more healthy lifestyle. Novant Health respiratory therapists and the American Lung Association will partner to provide several resources to help individuals quit smoking for good.
Beginning January 14, the course is just in time for New Year’s resolutions. Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center, which is located at 240 Hospital Drive in Bolivia, will host the smoking cessation program weekly from 6 to 8 p.m. The dates for the program are Jan. 14, 21, 28, and Feb. 4, 6, 11, 18 and 25.
